For those fortunate people out there who don’t know about this website yet… run away and don’t look back! If you don’t you’ll get sucked into the addictive pleasure that is Sierra Trading Post. It’s just about the most awesome online outlet store for tons of outdoor recreation gear and clothing, SHOES (who doesn’t need more shoes??), household stuff, and tons of other cool things, all at really good prices. I got a pair of Birkinstocks from here for $17. Of course, they’re orange, but who cares when they make your feet so happy? I’ve often seen items from brands like Columbia, Merrell, and even Ralph Lauren on sale for over 50% off.

see: Shoes. All of Them. I think Sierra Trading Post goes a long way to explaining WHY women need so many shoes. In the women’s shoe section of their website they list NINETEEN different categories of footear. NINETEEN! Count ‘em. Actually I might be off by one or two, even though I just counted them online and have forgotten already. They point is, that is a LOT of kinds of shoes. And then in many of the categories you need more than one pair of shoes, such as ones in different colors, so you can make sure your outfits don’t clash. These things are very important, honest. And besides, if you get enough shoes, and your husband/signif. other is power tool inclined (and aren’t they all, even if they’ve never used power tools) then you can have them build you a nifty shoe rack, which will give them an excuse to use their power tools, and will also help declutter the closet so they’ll stop complaining about “the thousands of useless shoes you never wear that all look the same”. They do not. And I do wear them. Honestly.

I could talk about shoes all day, but I think it’ll soon be time for bed. Maybe I’ll have a nice dream, that I won free shoes for life…
