Goodbyes and Hellos

In a little over a week, Mike and I are leaving the illustrious town of Nampa and heading home to North Idaho. We’re looking forward to living near our families again, and I can’t wait to be surrounded by lush green mountains and huge cold lakes again. I even miss the rain. We’ll miss all of our friends here, however (you all know who you are!) as great friends are hard to find. For more info, go check out Mike’s blog - he’s not a lazy procrastinator like I am when it comes to posting about important life events, so he posted about the move like, a week ago. Ah well. It was a hugely exciting but also stressful week last week, so I just didn’t get around to it until now.

On a side note, whenever I tell my younger sister that I’ll do something “when I get around to it” she cuts out a round piece of paper, writes “TUIT” on it, and hands it to me…. Smart ass. I do like a good pun though.

P.S. Everyone is invited to come visit us up in glorious NID once we’re all settled into our new house (which we don’t have yet, or know when we will have it…). There’s lots of fun stuff to do up there, especially for us outdoorsy types. Just don’t visit in March. Horrid month. All mud and slush and freezing rain and no good holidays, unless you’re Irish.
