Update

I like three day weekends! And mini vacations away! Last weekend we drove to Boise for Bill and Sarah’s wedding (very nice reception, they sure looked happy - Congratulations you guys!!!) and that was great! We stayed in a hotel, ate at the best bagel place for breakfast, ate at my two favorite restaurants (Mai Thai and Bardenays, YUM!), got to go around Boise with the newlyweds and take pictures (i was the photo assistant/packmule/dress technician), went to the reception, got to sit with all our old friends from college (that was great to see everyone), talked a lot, ate a lot (i liked the chocolate fountain!) and were merry. We also went out to some bars with our college peeps and I have just one question - if you go because you like to talk to everyone and tell stories and catch up on events and such, why do you go to bars that are so loud you have to shout across the table at them? Hmph. There needs to be more nice latenight coffee/drink places open that are quiet enough for talking, because i like talking!

This weekend I’m flying down to Reno with my parents and younger sister and then driving an hour or so to Northern California for my grandma’s 80th Birthday Bash. Tons of family and friends are going to be there, there’ll be lots of food, and I get to visit with my grandma, and hang out in Quincy, one of the prettiest spots I’ve been to. I like this! 4 days work, 3 days off somewhere on a trip. Fun fun!

One of the nicest things about taking trips, though, is coming home again.
