Weekly Post

Here it is, my weekly post. This week I:

Worked overtime for the second week in a row. All the overtime money I make goes straight into my vacation fund! Hawaii here I come.

Got up at 4:45am one morning (found out to my amazement that it’s actually light out then. and there’s no traffic. crazy) so i could be first in line to register one of my clients to be on the waiting list for a really awesome private kindergarten program. They said registration started at 7am, and to come a little early, so I was there at 6am. Ha. I was FIRST! Ok, maybe I got a little competitive there. But he got into the program and his family and I are hugely relieved, as this program will allow a lot more flexibility for him compared to public school.

Was really tired all week as a result of getting up at the hideous crack of dawn.

Cleaned the house with Mike on Thursday evening instead of waiting to do it all on Saturday morning like we usually do. That was nice!

Did taxes. That sucked.

Went to a training on “The Multifactorial Causes of Autism” featuring Dr. Shaw, a really big honcho in the autism research community. Very interesting. He confirmed that everything is bad for you, basically, and that we need to drink bottled water, take vitamins, cut out wheat, dairy, soy, sugar, and lots of other stuff from our diets. It’s like the world is trying to poison us. What fun. Was actually interesting though, and I got a free snack energy bar thing in my registration bag. I love free food!

Watched Chronicles of Narnia with Mike. Pretty good. Some cheesy parts. Nice scenery.

Helped Mike build a really cool desk for our fancy Macs, made out of reclaimed 2×4’s from the old homestead house on the Peck ranch. Full of nail holes. Going to really add to the Zen Den look.

Umm… all that comes to mind.
