wow

I just got my cell phone bill for last month and was rather dismayed to see that it was $5 more than usual. In the past I’ve gone over (WAY over) on my minutes a couple times, so I assumed i must have gone over again by just a few minutes. But it turned out I hadn’t - this time it was my excessive text messaging that was the culprit. I sent and recieved 150 text messages last month on my cell phone. Jeez. That’s an average of 5 a day, but i don’t get reception at my house so i don’t usually message on the weekends. So it’s really an average of 7.5 messages a day. I have to say, I’m a damn fast text messager too. And I can type without looking, which comes in handy when I’m also engaged in other activities like meetings, or ahem, driving (I know, it’s bad bad bad). I don’t have many geeky skills, but this one’s pretty good. I kind of want to have a text message race :).

Time to go upgrade the text message feature on my cell phone plan.
