Not that I ever starve

I saw this How To Article Thingy on Mike’s Google homepage, and thought I’d post about it as it’s pretty much the most comprehensive (yet concise) and useful article I’ve read about what non-vegetarian/vegan types might want to know to not risk feeding their guests “non allowed” food.

I’ve been blessed with family and friends who have been wonderfully open and diligent in learning all this from me anyway, and have fed me splendidly for years. But for anyone else out there who might want to feed me (or other non meat eater types) this article pretty much tells you what you need to know. That, and I’m a lacto vegetarian (I eat dairy but no eggs).

The tip on feeding us pizza as a backup is definitely a keeper. I like pineapple. Or pesto-artichoke heart-spinach with white garlic sauce. Or sometimes olive. NO mushrooms. Or green peppers. Yech.
