Mike and I bought another boat. This is one is simpler and works fine with the electric motor we bought last year, so should be much less hassle than the other one. Mike and I took it down to the lake this evening and plopped it in the lake. Yay, it floats! We ogred (like trolled… heh heh) around the bay looking at float houses and sail boats and ducks and docks. The boat (as yet unnamed - “the Kumquat” is in the running) was stable, watertight, maneuverable, and sturdy feeling. It was far and away one of the most relaxing boat experiences I’ve had.

The only way to improve it would be to put a hammock in there. :) With a sun shade above. Ahhh….
