Wee!kend

Four days off. Whew. Tired! But fun.

Friday:

Made waffles, yum. Tried to go boating. Too bumpy. Came back home and napped. Watched 6 Frasier episodes on DVD. Nice! Cleaned out my very dirty car.

Saturday:

Got up. Packed for Dave Matthews Band concert at the Gorge in George. Drove to Cda to buy food and such. Noticed my tire was low. Got it fixed - nail in there :S. Drove across the Washington deserty area to George to meet Bill, Sarah and their friends. Mike napped. Arrived at the concert location. WOW. Crazy. 500 acres of people camping in fields. Found campsites, set up tents. Walked 2 miles to ampitheater. Found a spot on the really steep hill, set up our blankets. Roasted in the sun for 2 hours, looking at the view of the Columbia River. Amazing. Ate really bad food. Concert was cool. Surrouded by 10’s of thousands of people, many of them smoking pot and singing along with all the songs. Some of them cursed at anyone who didn’t sing along or sat down or wouldn’t join in their chants. I contemplated punching him. Cool music. Dave was intense. Concert over, we all herded like cattle back to the campground. Sat around and chatted for awhile, went to bed listening to the sounds of intense partying, firewords, radios, drunk people.

Sunday:

Woke up at maybe 5 hours sleep. Said goodbye to the friends. Drove home. Took showers (my hair really smelled like pot…) went fishing/boating at Spirit Lake. Came home, went to bed.

Monday:

Got up at 9:30 (10 hours of sleep… not enough though…). Packed up stuff for boating. Went boating on Pend Oreille with the familia. Tubing, picnic, attempted waterskiing (not by me though), at a secluded beach up the lake a ways. Relaxing. Very nice! Came home, went to dinner at Mike’s grandparents, came home, did laundry, blogged. Played Snood (I have rediscovered my college addiction). Went to bed. Back to work tomorrow.
