Pre-trip panic!

I’m going on a much anticipated vacation to Floriday on Saturday. I’ll be gone for a week, staying with my sisters, who I haven’t seen in several months. I love vacations.. what’s not to love! Except that this week I was out every evening, except maybe Monday, with birthday parties, trivia nights, Grey’s Anatomy, Valentine’s Day etc. I can’t remember what I did on Monday. Hmm. Anyhoo.. I find myself rushing around, like I always do somehow before vacations, doing laundry at odd hours of morning and night, scribbling little notes to myself in my mini-Moleskine about watering plants and remembering to bring the camera, that sort of thing.

Time is a strange thing, isn’t it? I planned this trip over 6 months ago, and it seems like it’s so far away until all the sudden it’s only two days away and I’m not ready! I’m blaming college for teaching me procrastination.

My life is sad, I know. I’ll dwell on that while I’m reading trashy books on a beach.
