routine

i like routines. I like my coming home after work routine especially. my favorite part is sitting down in front of my beautiful shiny white iMac and checking my email, catching up on blogs, looking at Flickr pictures, reading celeb gossip… And I love one website so much I have to share it with you all. Because it is like, the best thing ever. And yes, i realize that sounded valley girl. But reading this website is one of the best simple pleasures of my day.

Go Fug Yourself. This website has the best snarky celeb fashion critiques ever. No matter how bad my day has been, looking at pictures of badly dressed celebrities and reading amazingly well written fashion bashing never fails to cheer me up. This and chocolate are on the same level in that regard.

i also check out Stuff on My Cat, Dooce, Mike Who Rarely Blogs, We Smirch, and Cute Overload, and bloglines checks all my “peeps” blogs for me and tells me when they’re updated.

*interesting sidenote: I had to ask Mike how to make the little link thingies clickable. he had to describe html in Cassie terms. In case anyone else needs it translated, this symbol > is called “a gator”. I admit to taking entirely too much enjoyment in hearing Mike describe programming thingies as “gators”.
