All I can say is helooo Meridith's half sister! The last episode I thought was a real cliff hanger. George botches his exam and thus is leaving the program? The wedding is called off? Derek and Meridith are on the rocks but there is a twist with the half sister. The episode with Addison in LA though was horrible, a disaster. I think it still has it's edge based on the last episode of the season but I think they need to try to add a bit more with the crazy cases they see. I mean the best episodes ever "code black" had a very interesting case, tension etc in addition to the drama of the relationships. They need a little more mystery, more tension. When the whole derek merideth thing was stable I felt the show went a little down hill. That tension between them drove the show. I think they have to drive a wedge there to keep the tension and i think that's what they are doing with the half sister. New interns are coming and they are second year residents so that in itself is a shift. There is still potential but they need to try to not spread too thin. It’s a soap opera.
