Been Over a Week

Whenever it’s been over a week I feel like i need to post, even if I don’t have anything significant to say.

Had the nicest weekend.

Spent Saturday morning in Sandpoint wandering around the Farmer’s Market with my mom, met a friend for coffee, met my dad for lunch at Joel’s (awesome food), went to the library.

Went home, was amazed at the all yard work and massive rock moving done by Mike while I was away. We went to town and had the nicest dinner out at Tomato Street. Our conversation was lively and entertaining, and revolved mainly around what animals we’d have if we lived on the ranch. And what we’d name them. We agreed on adopting two fuzzy eared donkeys, and potentially a blind horse (from a rescue organization of course). The donkeys would be named Horse (ha!) and Norman.

Although Mike doesn’t want a horse. Says they’re shifty - you never know what they’re thinking. And he doesn’t like “the whole sideways eye thing”. I said that I thought if we adopted a BLIND horse that wouldn’t be so much of an issue. We might still have some work to do on that…
